Originally by: CCP Mindstar As some players have noticed in the last week or so, we have been having some slowness in EVE loading systems following downtime. This is caused by higher than normal CPU usage on our database cluster during startup. We are working to resolve the issue, and part of the analysis for this this is why we are delaying the server opening today.
OK smarty pants .. now explain WHY THE FARK on POSSIBLY the busiest night of the week you ****s decide to try and resolve it tonight ? Why not just try and get it back up ASAP .. it's meant to be driven by the players .. not some half assed geek with bug chasing up his butt.

Originally by: CCP Mindstar Unfortunately the diagnostics we were running during the startup caused some further issues, and we had no option but to restart Tranquility as a result.
The server will be open at approximately 1300 GMT.
So riddle me this .. why do you guys try this **** tonight ?
Are you out to make enemies ?
How bout you guys run diags on I dont know Tuesday / Wednesday DT's ? And leave the kids to their little game ?

Very accurate .. but you'd think you'd have a wider view .. this is an international game .. and as such you'd think you'd try and avoid peak times globally .. if that means not farking with ****e .. from Thursday 12pm .. to Monday 12pm .. then farking do it..
How hard is it to understand.. it's already hard enough that we get treated like dirt by you tools .. it's worse when the fact that we are on the other side of the world gets used as a reason.
Just work on their test case databases during peak times .. and keep their hands off it during peak FARK it AINT hard.

personally i'd do it during your lunch time.... where ever that is? but to suggest that today at this time is the busy peek hours? when the most people online are actually on line during sunday 1600-2100 eve time (note i used eve time)....
i not sure why you got lots of beef cakes about a little extended down time tbh. maybe if its late for you, maybe you should go to bed?
also, at what point did i say i was euro timezone? i was just saying its euro lunch time.....
And I suggested AVOIDING the WEEKEND by 12 hours either side .... THUS avoiding ANY weekend peak period ..
I dont give a **** where u live.
